The encrypted connection to the UW network that UW students, faculty and staff use for secure access to UW resources from remote locations—Husky OnNet—is expanding its reach. Now UW departments who require Husky OnNet access for their Sponsored UW NetID holders can use the online self-service Assign Computing Services form to include Husky OnNet for a $20 monthly fee on a UW budget number. With this service enabled, they, too, can remotely access departmental services, research databases, specialized applications, desktops, printers and more.
