UW Libraries’ Media Arcade equipped with audio-video tools aplenty

Bring your imagination to the Media Arcade, an audio-video makerspace where you can compose music, edit video, critique video games, listen to vinyl, digitize vintage media, and more. The Media Arcade is open to UW students, faculty and staff and is located on the third floor of Seattle’s Allen Library North. It offers iMacs loaded with audio and video software. Large plasma screens are connected to video game consoles and playback and recording equipment for everything from LaserDiscs to Blu-rays. The Media Arcade is also outfitted with turntables, cassette decks and a 16mm telecine, reel-to-reel player.
