You can sign in to Workday with your UW NetID and password but remember you’ll need two-factor authentication (2FA) to access payroll and some personal information, such as payslips, tax documents or home address. 2FA adds a second layer of security to protect your personal and University data from being stolen or compromised. If you’re an HR or payroll staff member with elevated security roles, you’ll need 2FA to sign into Workday.
