Configure your Huawei router with the VPN
Access your router’s control panel by entering 192.168.0.1 or tendawifi.com. If that does not work, see how to find your router’s default gateway.
If this is your first time signing in, use the credentials supplied on the router.
On the router dashboard, click on VPN.
Select PPTP/L2TP Client.
Fill in the details as follows:
PPTP/L2TP Client: Toggle on
Client Type: L2TP
Server IP Address/Domain Name: A server name you found above
User Name: The ExpressVPN username you found above
Password: The ExpressVPN password you found above
Click Connect.
When you see you are successfully connected, check your IP to ensure you are connected to the VPN via your router.
Note: You can also use these steps to set up a PPTP connection. However, as PPTP is much less secure than L2TP, ExpressVPN recommends using the L2TP setup.
