UW-IT VP/CIO Trosvig takes Michigan position; Powell appointed interim

Vice President for UW Information Technology and CIO Kelli Trosvig will assume the role of Vice President for Information Technology and CIO at the University of Michigan on November 14. Aaron Powell (pictured), UW-IT Associate Vice President for Information Management, will serve as Interim VP/CIO, effective November 10, Trosvig’s last day at the UW. A national search will be announced later. Under Trosvig’s leadership, UW-IT made major advances in providing IT resources and services to support teaching and learning, enhance research and modernize administrative operations.
