How to block specific IP addresses on Linksys routers

If you’re trying to access certain streaming services, it’s a good idea to block specific IPs on your router.
To block specific IP addresses on your Linksys router:
Log into your router with your router IP. Some sample IP addresses are 192.168.0.1, 192.168.0.1, and 192.168.1.254
Go to Setup > Advanced Routing
Fill in the following:
Router Name: enter a name of your choice
Destination IP: 8.8.8.8
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Gateway: the IP address of your router. If you get an error, try changing the last digit of the router’s IP address e.g. 192.168.1.1 > 192.168.1.2

Click on Save Settings
Repeat steps 1-7, but enter 8.8.4.4 for the Destination IP
