Every traveler knows that feeling of being stuck at the airport. Your flight’s delayed, you’re irritated, bored, hungry (or worse, hangry), and totally out of your element. Here’s how to eat healthy so you won’t feel even worse.
Traveling is stressful, no matter how excited you are about your destination. Even the most experienced travelers dread the thought of lost luggage, missed flights, long delays, and every other possible complication.
When you’re stressed, your body remains in constant fight-or-flight mode. If you add processed, low-nutrient food on top of that, it can aggravate inflammation and cause digestion issues, uncomfortable bloating, and increase stomach acid.
It’s hard to diminish the stress of traveling, but if you make better choices in the food department, it can make your airport experience a lot more pleasant.
Here’s how to fit in some healthy eats, so you’re not stuck on a plane with a stomachache after a Cinnabon bender.
Pack Your Own Food
If you can, take your own food with you to the airport. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting—no hidden sugars or processed fats will trick you. And you can satisfy your hunger and the crazy travel cravings that tend to accompany anxiety. You can’t bring liquids, though. No matter how much you love your protein shake, it’ll end up in the trash if you try to take it through a TSA security screening.
You can either cook something at home or get take out from your favorite restaurant. Pack it in a container and seal it well. Don’t bother packing utensils as you’ll find plenty at the airport food stalls. Plus, packing a knife in your carry-on is not a good idea.
Bring some healthy snacks, like nuts, seeds, fruit, raw veggies, healthy cookies, energy balls, or protein bars. You’ll stay full longer and have more energy to deal with any delayed flights or other unexpected situations.
Buy Snacks at the Airport
If you don’t want to pack your own food, you can pick up some snacks in the shops at the airport. Opt for nuts or seeds, protein or energy bars, or a smoothie (if you can find one that isn’t just made of fruit).

Files and directories in Linux systems all belong to someone. You can change their ownership with the chown command. We show you how.
Each File Belongs to a User and a Group
Linux is a multi-user system. The operating system allows multiple user accounts to be defined and for any valid user to log on to the computer. Moreover, multiple users can use a single computer at the same time.
To maintain a record of which files belong to which user and to enforce some security, Linux uses the concept of ownership. Every file belongs to an owner—a user—and to a group.
When a file is created, its owner is the user who created it. The group that the file belongs to—the “owning” group—is the user’s current group. Users and groups have names, and they have numeric identities too, called a user (or unique) identifier (UID) and a group identifier (GID).
When you create a file, it is owned by you, and it belongs to your current group. Usually, this is the group you have signed into. By default, this is a group that shares the same name as your user name and was created when you were created as a user on the system.
You can use the chown command to can change the ownership values to something else. You can set a new owner, a new group, or a new owner and a new group at the same time. The owner of a file can change the group ownership, but only root can change the user ownership because that involves another user. Without root privileges, you can’t make another user on the system unwittingly “adopt” a file.
Why Would You Want To Change Ownership?
Here are a few examples of situations where you might want to do this:

If you transfer files between different Linux or Unix-like operating systems, you will need to change the user and group owners to the new user and group owners of the account you wish to use the files under on the new Linux computer.
A user may leave your organization, and all of his files will be the responsibility of another staff member. You will need to change the owner and group owner to the staff member now responsible for those files.
You may author a script that is going to be used by a specific user.
You may create a file or directory logged in as root, but you want it to be accessible to a specific user.

Viewing Your Groups, UID, and GID
To list the groups you are in, you can use the groups command.

The idea of a single device that can clean all of your home’s floors is an appealing one. Unfortunately, it’s still just an idea. The Roborock S6 is probably the best we can do at the moment.
The S6 is a fairly standard robot vacuum, with most of the bells and whistles you’d expect from its premium price. It’s extremely competent at the basic task of handling carpets and hardwood dirt, with a smartphone app that’s surprisingly intuitive. But its standout feature, an integrated mopping system, is a bit of a letdown.
The mopping function itself is lacking, in the limited capacity of both a home robot and one that’s attempting to be a convergence device. With all the extra steps necessary to engage the mop, and get it working in a specific area, you might as well roll up your sleeves, break out the bucket, and do it the old-fashioned way.

The Roborock doesn’t look especially eye-catching as a home appliance, and perhaps that’s the point. But the all-white plastic version we were sent as a review unit is appealing, and its understated charging station should fit into most homes’ decor even if you go for black or a little rose gold trim. It’s the standard sci-fi pizza layout, with a small disc on the top of the device that acts as the vacuum’s air exhaust.
The super-simple looks belie a more complex interior. Flip up the access port beneath the exhaust and the three control buttons and you’ll find the dustbin, which comes out for easy emptying without needing to flip the robot over. (It’s not quite pricey or complex enough to do it itself, like some top-of-the-line models.) If you do need to flip it, you’ll find easy access to the roller brush assembly and the slot for installing the optional mopping components.

It’s a sharp-looking package altogether, and the exhaust port on top is as distinctive as these things can get. But here’s a tip: Go for the black option if you’re in a house with pets. In fact, that’s true of almost everything in a house with pets.
Serviceable Sucking with a Great App
The S6 can handle fairly large spaces on its own, at least for the vacuuming component. Its array of onboard laser and pressure sensors will actively map out an entire floor plan, then get to cleaning every single spot it can find. The motion is kind of weird—it looks random and disjointed—but it gets the job done.

In hours and hours of cleaning, I had only a couple of complaints about the vacuum function. One, it tends to send out “brush blocked” messages fairly easily, especially when the dust reservoir is close to full. And two, it isn’t at all obvious how you’re supposed to put it into Wi-Fi connection mode. (Hold down the home and map buttons simultaneously—you’re welcome, Google searchers.)
The mapping and programming app is surprisingly great.
You can get the S6 working right out of the box, just set up the dock and press the central button. But to really take advantage of this gadget, you’ll need to install the Roborock app on your phone (Android, iOS). This will show you a live map of what it’s doing, give you alerts for when the vacuum is stuck, full, or otherwise needs attention, or even help you locate it if it’s lost.

A New Cortana Experience (With Typing)

Microsoft is advertising a “new Cortana experience” with a “brand-new chat-based UI.” You can now type queries to Cortana rather than say them out loud. The history of your conversation with Cortana will appear as if it was a chat window, so you can see the results of recent queries just by opening Cortana from the taskbar.
Beyond the new design, Microsoft says it has “updated Cortana with new speech and language models” as well as “significantly improved performance” of the voice assistant. It supports both Windows 10’s light and dark themes, too.
Cloud Download for Reinstalling Windows

Windows 10 has a new “Cloud Download” option you can use when resetting your PC to a default Windows system. When you head to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery and choose to reset your PC and remove everything, you can now tell Windows to use “Cloud Download.” Rather than reinstalling Windows 10 from the files on your local system, Windows will download the most up-to-date version of Windows 10 and install it on your system.
This will save time on updates afterward. Previously, the only way to do this was to either update Windows 10 before “resetting” your system or by creating new Windows 10 installation media.
