Panopto users are being asked to update their software by July 21 with a new version that includes important bug fixes that may prevent data loss in certain circumstances. The upgrade also offers a new guided tour to help first-time creators get a quick handle on the most used features, improved live streaming without the need for browser add-ons, and integration with YouTube, allowing users to embed videos directly into Panopto recordings. As the preferred lecture capture solution, faculty rely on Panopto to record lectures and presentations that can be easily accessed by students.
