This tutorial will show you how to set up the ExpressVPN app on your Mi Box.
Note: Before starting, make sure you have your Mi Box correctly set up. For instructions, refer to the instructions that came with your Mi Box or visit the Xiaomi website.

How to uninstall ExpressVPN from your Mi Box

Download the ExpressVPN Android app
On your Mi Box, go to the Google Play Store.

Search for ExpressVPN. You should see the ExpressVPN Android app in the search results.

Open the ExpressVPN app page and select Install.

You will need to confirm app permissions before proceeding. Select Accept to continue.

Activate the ExpressVPN Android app
Use your mouse to click Sign in.

Use your Mi Box remote to enter the following information:

Email: your ExpressVPN account email
Password: your ExpressVPN account password

Click Sign in. Wait while the app activates.
Now, you’ll be invited to configure the app. Select OK.

You will be asked to accept ExpressVPN connection requests. Choose OK to continue.

Your app will ask if you’d like to share anonymous information to help make ExpressVPN faster and more reliable.
Click Allow if you’d like to share anonymous analytics. ExpressVPN values your privacy and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Connect to a VPN server location
To connect to a VPN server location, click the ON button. By default, ExpressVPN will suggest a Smart Location, the location that provides you with the most optimal experience.

Once you see the VPN is ON message, you can use your Mi Box with freedom and security!

Disconnect from a VPN server location
To disconnect from the VPN server, click the ON Button while the VPN is on.

You will know you are disconnected when you see the “VPN is OFF” message.

Choose a different location
To choose a different VPN location, click Choose location and select a VPN location from the list.

How to uninstall ExpressVPN from your Mi Box
On your Mi Box, go to the Google Play Store and find ExpressVPN.
Select Uninstall.

The app is now deleted from your Mi Box.
