On your Mi Box, go to the Google Play Store.

Search for ExpressVPN. You should see the ExpressVPN Android app in the search results.

Get your DDNS hostname
Note: Dynu’s standard free service is perfectly sufficient for most users. You do not need to create more than the four free hostnames in order to use MediaStreamer.Go to https://www.dynu.com and click Create Account.

Create your account to receive the account verification email from Dynu.

Open the link in the verification email then log in to your account on https://www.dynu.com and select DDNS Services.

Click on + Add to add a DDNS service.

If you do not have a hostname already, enter your desired hostname in Option 1 and click + Add. This is the recommended option for users who are not familiar with domain names.
If you already have your own domain name, enter your domain name in Option 2 and click +Add.

Once done, you will see your hostname and your current public IP. Uncheck both Wildcard Alias and Enable IPv6 Address and click Save.

And that’s it! Your DDNS hostname is set up and ready to be used!

Get your DNS server IP address
To set up the MediaStreamer DNS server on your Nintendo Switch, you will need to obtain the DNS server IP address.
On a separate device, open the Welcome Email you received when you signed up for ExpressVPN. Click the link in the email.

If you can’t find the link, log in to your account here .

Once you’ve clicked the link in the welcome email or logged in to the website, click on Set Up ExpressVPN on the Active Subscriptions page.

Select MediaStreamer on the left side of the screen. On the right, you will find the MediaStreamer DNS server IP address. Keep it on hand for setup.

Configure the DNS servers on your Nintendo Switch
On your Switch, go to System Settings.

Go to Internet > Internet Settings.

Select the network you want to be connected to.

Select Change Settings.

Go down to DNS Settings and select Manual.

Paste in the first IP address you copied from the ExpressVPN setup page and press OK.

For Secondary DNS, enter the second IP address you copied from the ExpressVPN setup page and press OK.
Note: your Nintendo Switch might reformat the numbers so that each number between the periods is three digits—this is expected.
When you finish entering the IP addresses, click Save. Your Nintendo Switch will tell you the settings have been saved. Select OK.

Congratulations! MediaStreamer DNS has been set up on your Nintendo Switch!

Register your hostname to access MediaStreamer with DDNS
In order to use the MediaStreamer smoothly, you must register your hostname on the ExpressVPN website. Follow these steps to register your hostname. You should have set one up a hostname previously.
Go to www.expressvpn.com and click on MY ACCOUNT on the top header bar.

Sign in using your account information.

After signing in, click DNS Settings in the top header bar.

Under Dynamic DNS Registration, enter the hostname you want to register and click Save Hostname.

After the process is completed, you will see an indication that the hostname has been updated.

This tutorial will show you how to use Mouse Toggle on Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Fire TV Stick. Mouse Toggle makes it easy to navigate and operate the ExpressVPN app on Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.
On your Fire TV or Fire TV Stick, download and open the Downloader.

In Downloader, go to Settings and check the box next to Enable JavaScript.

This tutorial will show you how to set up the ExpressVPN app on your Amazon Fire TV by sideloading the Android app. “Sideloading” refers to the process of downloading an application in APK format and manually installing the file on an Android device. APK files are typically downloaded from websites other than the Google Play Store.
To complete the installation, you will need a computer connected to the internet and a USB flash drive, along with a mouse that you can plug into your Amazon Fire TV. You will use the computer to download the file, then transfer it to the Amazon Fire TV using the USB drive.
Note: Your flash drive must be formatted in the FAT32 format to work with your Amazon Fire TV.

Download the APK file on your computer

Transfer the APK file to your USB flash drive
When the file has finished downloading, plug a flash drive into your computer and transfer the APK file you just downloaded onto the flash drive.
Eject the flash drive from your computer.
If you’re on a Windows machine, you can do so by clicking the eject icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

When the screen flashes, “Safe to Remove Hardware,” you may remove the flash drive safely.
If you are on a Mac, drag the desktop flash drive icon to the trash. When the flash drive entirely disappears from the desktop, you can remove the flash drive safely.

Make sure your Country Settings are correctly set
Sign in to your Amazon account on https://www.amazon.com/.
Go to Your Account > Digital Content > Manage Your Content and Devices > Settings > Country Settings.
Click Change.
Set your address according to the regional Amazon catalog you want to access. Later, you will want to select a VPN location in the country that matches this address .
Click Update to save your changes.
Set up 1-Click for buying movies
Go to Your Account > Settings > 1-Click Settings.
If you want to purchase movies from Amazon Instant Video, make sure the address in your 1-Click Settings matches your Country Settings.

Allow Amazon Fire TV to install apps from unknown sources
Turn on your Amazon Fire TV. Go to Settings > Device.
 

Scroll down to Developer options.

Select Apps from Unknown Source.

Download ES File Explorer
Return to your Amazon Fire TV’s home screen. Click the magnifying glass icon and search for “Es Explore.”

The top result under “Apps & Games” should be ES File Explorer File Manager, a free app that lets you manage files on your Amazon Fire TV.
Note: ExpressVPN is not affiliated with ES File Explorer File Manager. You are free to use whatever file managing app you choose to complete the sideloading process.

Select the app and choose Download.

Once the app has finished downloading, click Open.

Install ExpressVPN APK
Plug your flash drive into your Amazon Fire TV. It should appear in ES File Explorer File Manager as usbdisk, or as whatever you named it. Click on it to open it.

You should see a file with the name expressvpn_#####apk.apk (The number in the filename will vary depending on the version you’ve downloaded). Click to open the file.

A pop-up will display the APK file’s properties. Select Install.

You’ll see a message detailing the features the app requests to access. Click INSTALL.

When the app has finished installing, select Done.
